    The Sheep Shearing Day <\/strong><\/p>\n

    According to the tradition, this day is organised in the mountain cottages when farmers are off to the mountains. On this day visitors can get acquainted with many years of tradition of sheep shearing in the traditional way where professional shearers express their art through the shearing of sheep. This method of sheep shearing is cultivated for many generations and the purpose of this activity is that these traditions are cultivated and transmitted to the younger generations. Within this project The Sheep Shearing Day is organised in the mountains of Isniq which includes sheep shearing competitions.<\/p>\n

    The Chestnut Day <\/strong><\/p>\n

    The municipalities of De\u00e7an and Junik are known for chestnuts and other products so a day like this for the presentation of products will incite the interest of visitors to visit these municipalities. In this regard, respective municipalities in cooperation with other stakeholders should enrich this day with other activities and offers.<\/p>\n

    The Harvest Supper (Darka e Lam\u00ebs)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This is a traditional holiday and is usually held at the end of the season after the harvest. It is called Lama\u2019s for “Lama” is a flat area in mountain villages where the harvest and other agricultural works take place. Within the project “Rural tourism for the economic development of the cross-border area of Kosovo and Montenegro” The Harvest Supper is held in “Mazrekaj” tower house. During this ceremony the best farmers who have contributed to the development of agriculture and rural tourism are selected.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
